Scotland lockdown for at least the rest of January announced | ITV News

ITV News published this video item, entitled “Scotland lockdown for at least the rest of January announced | ITV News” – below is their description.

Several hours before Boris Johnson announced the new lockdown for England, Nicola Sturgeon was doing the same in Scotland.

She said hospitals face being overrun without tougher action. So from tomorrow, people on the mainland and Skye will be ordered to stay at home, with schools and nurseries closed.

The measures will be in place throughout January, but the First Minister wouldn’t rule out keeping them in place even longer if necessary.
