All countries should be encouraged to share experiences and learn from each other on dealing with human rights issues, said a Chinese scholar on Wednesday.
Speaking at the South-South Human Rights Forum in Beijing on Wednesday, Zhang Weiwei, director of the China Institute at Fudan University, called on global societies to progress together on human rights.
The forum centered on the theme “Putting People First and Global Human Rights Governance” and was co-hosted by China’s State Council Information Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
