A bronze figurine with a pointed hat holding a scepter has been unearthed from the No. 8 sacrificial pit of the Sanxingdui Ruins in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. The appearance of the new image brings new clues to decode the mystery of Sanxingdui. In addition, archaeologists found hundreds of jade beads and pieces inside a bronze square vessel unearthed from the same pit, the thinnest of which was a mere 0.5 millimeters. #sanxingdui
