S Korea’s Moon heads to US to meet Trump

South Korean President Moon Jae-in is heading to Washington, DC, for his first official meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The two leaders are expected to focus on North Korea, with Moon flagging his intention to shift his country’s approach to its neighbour.

Moon took office last month after his predecessor, Park Geun-hye, was impeached over a corruption scandal.

Al Jazeera’s Kathy Novak reports from South Korea’s capital, Seoul.
