The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Russian military rehearse flypast over Moscow ahead of Victory Day parade” – below is their description.
The Russian military rehearsed their flypasts on Wednesday, ahead of a parade on Victory Day on Sunday which marks the anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two.
Helicopters and military jets flew over Moscow city center, the Kremlin and the Red Square.
Russia commemorates the end of World War Two on May 9. The defeat of Nazi Germany in Europe is celebrated elsewhere a day earlier, on May 8, due to the time difference between Moscow and other European capitals when the surrender of the German forces took effect.
