Within weeks, more than 100 suburban and country newspapers in a major shakeup of News Corp’s Australian publishing business. A network of Murdoch-owned papers is switching to digital delivery – the latest in a flurry of heavy blows on a media industry hit by falling profits and the changing habits of readers.
