A herd of 15 #wild #elephants recently stirred internet buzz on what triggered their long-distance tour. In the past few days, these wandering wild Asian elephants set out from their home in Xishuangbanna and went northward for hundreds of kilometers to the southwest Chinese city of Kunming. Yunnan forestry authorities have sent out at least 12 surveillance drones and dispatched emergency response teams and experts to map out the herd’s migration route and local authorities warned people to take precautions.
