Rudy Giuliani is calling the investigation into his business dealings while serving as former President Donald Trump’s lawyer, “garbage.”

Federal agents raided Giuliani’s Manhattan home and office on April 28th, seizing computers and cellphones in a major escalation of the Justice Department’s investigation.

Giuliani, the 76-year-old former New York City mayor once celebrated for his leadership after 9/11, has been under federal scrutiny for several years over his ties to Ukraine. The dual searches sent the strongest signal yet that he could eventually face federal charges.

Giuliani was speaking at a campaign rally for Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, in New York. Sliwa is running for mayor on the Republican ticket.
