Roland-Garros seeks to make up for losses with limited fan attendance

FRANCE 24 English published this video item, entitled “Roland-Garros seeks to make up for losses with limited fan attendance” – below is their description.

The French Open has gotten underway –  the only one of the grand slams to be played on clay. Like many other sporting events it’s been hit hard by the pandemic. Last year the tournament had to be moved from its usual May slot to the fall – and with heavy restrictions on visitors.  This year things are looking up, as organisers hope to make back some of their losses. Also in the show – the OECD lifts its economic forecast, but warns that challenges remain.
