Sky News published this video item, entitled “Roger Federer bids tearful farewell to tennis” – below is their description.
Tennis icon Roger Federer has played his final professional match, teaming up with his old rival Rafael Nadal at the Laver Cup in London.
As expected, there were plenty of tears from the Swiss star. And a fair few from Rafa.
Federer is widely considered the best player to ever pick up a racket despite being overtaken in terms of slam titles in recent years by Novak Djokovic, Nadal and Serena Williams.
