The skyline of the Gaza Strip appeared mostly calm overnight Tuesday, just before a handful of blasts rocked the city before dawn in the fourth war between Israel and Hamas.
Images of the mostly peaceful skyline were interrupted with occasional blasts and volleys of rockets lighting up the horizon before Wednesday’s sunrise.
More than 58,000 people have been displaced by Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip, according to the latest figures presented by the spokesperson for the United Nations general-secretary.
Pro-Palestinian protests have taken place around the world, including in Michigan to coincide with Joe Biden’s visit.
