Food outlets are keen to observe stricter hygiene measures and put distance between the staff and customers to avoid potential transmission.
There are now robots that can flip burgers, make pizzas, create salads and fry chips.
Some say the robots will help free up staff to do other jobs, such as taking deliveries and disinfecting tables.
But, could this just be another fad?
