Robert Zemeckis is the Hollywood heavyweight behind “Back to the Future”, “Cast Away” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. The producer, director and screenwriter is also known as a master of visual effects, transposing “Forrest Gump” into the archives of American history, and mastering motion-capture technology in “The Polar Express”. His latest release, “Allied”, is a wartime love story with an espionage twist.
He sat down with FRANCE 24’s Olivia Salazar-Winspear to talk about getting a helping hand in the movie business and the perils of time travel.
