Rio 2016: Olympics prompt passport swapping debate

Citizenship swapping by athletes ahead of the Rio Olympic Games is being questioned.

Eighty-five African and Caribbean athletes were cleared to compete for other countries in time for this year’s games.

The athletics governing body, IAAF, is not so comfortable with nationality switches and wants to address the matter at its council meeting in Rio on Saturday.
