Global News published this video item, entitled “Residents return to Peguis First Nation after Manitoba floods” – below is their description.
The Peguis First Nation in Manitoba is working to rebuild after historic floods forced nearly 2,000 people to flee their homes this week.
Some residents are now returning this weekend to the community as the water recedes. Even as cleanup and repair begins, there are still homes filled with water as well as overland flooding.
As Marney Blunt reports, the full extent of the damage won’t be known for some time.
