The NSW Government will ban residents from Berala and surrounding suburbs from attending the cricket Test in Sydney this week. State Health Minister Brad Hazzard says he’ll sign a public health order banning residents, with anyone found breaching the order to be fined $1,000.
New South Wales recorded four locally-acquired cases of coronavirus overnight. Two of the cases were announced yesterday morning, and another case has been confirmed this morning. This case will be included in tomorrow’s numbers. Over 26,000 tests were conducted overnight.
New South Wales health authorities are setting up COVID testing clinics in three country centres, after an infected Sydney man passed through on a camping trip. He traveled from Berala to Orange, to Nyngan, and then to Broken Hill.
