Rescuers in Beirut said they have found “no sign of life” in the rubble of a building, which was destroyed in last month’s port explosion. About 50 rescue workers had searched for three days after sensors detected signs of breathing and heat. But with 95 percent of the rubble cleared at the scene, rescuers have not found the source of the reading.
