Republican National Convention: Ivanka Trump says president’s results “speak for themselves”

Ivanka Trump, adviser and daughter to U.S. President Donald Trump, spoke at the Republican National Convention on Thursday to introduce her father ahead of his acceptance speech, touting that while his communication style is not to everyone’s tastes and his tweets can be “unfiltered,” she stressed that the “results speak for themselves” in her opinion.

She said that when lobbies like big pharma attack Trump with negative advertisements, her father smiles and says, “you know, we’re doing something really right if they’re hitting us so hard.”
Ivanka also said that while people attack the President for being unconventional, she said she loves him for being “real and I respect you for being effective.”
