Israel has launched fresh air strikes on Tuesday against targets in Gaza, as Hamas fired dozens of rockets toward Israel. Authorities in Israel says 15 militants were killed in its prior overnight strikes, while Gaza health officials say 24 Palestinians died, including children. The escalation in violence follows days of protests over plans to evict Palestinian residents from a neighborhood in East JerusalemThe retaliatory attacks caused outrage among Palestinians – with new protests erupting in Bethlehem.
