Exactly 10 years ago, a fruit seller in Tunisia set himself on fire to protest against state corruption.
His fatal act eventually toppled President Zine Abidine Ben Ali and sparked similar uprisings across the region that became known as the Arab Spring.
But a decade later, many in Tunisia say they are worse off than before.
Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia.
