India’s Indigenous tribes are campaigning to have their religious beliefs recognised in the upcoming census.
There are 104 million Indigenous people in India. Many of them worship nature, and do not identify with any of the six religions listed in the census. But an influential Hindu nationalist organisation is opposing their efforts.
