Release report into WWII war hero Teddy Sheean, Federal Government told | ABC News

In 1942, as his ship was going down, Teddy Sheean strapped himself to an anti-aircraft cannon and fired at attacking planes.

He was credited with saving the lives of 49 crew.

More than a year after a review into whether the Tasmanian war hero’s actions were worthy of a Victoria Cross, the pressure is on for the Federal Government to release the tribunals’ findings.
