Aside from getting the ski slopes ready, resort staff have also upgraded the facilities. At Beidahu ski resort, which has a biggest vertical drop of 870 meters, cable cars are available to help skiing fans to mount the summit. China has been shifting the spotlight onto winter sports since it won the 2022 Winter Olympic Games bid.
