RCMP, Ottawa deny interfering with Nova Scotia massacre investigation to advance gun laws

Global News published this video item, entitled “RCMP, Ottawa deny interfering with Nova Scotia massacre investigation to advance gun laws” – below is their description.

The federal Liberals and RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki are denying they interfered in the investigation into the 2020 Nova Scotia mass killings.

RCMP Supt. Darren Campbell claims Lucki pushed for more information from the investigation to be publicly released, to help further Ottawa’s gun control agenda.

“As a police officer, and the RCMP Commissioner, I would never take actions or decisions that could jeopardize an investigation,” Lucki later said in a statement.

Ross Lord has more on the controversy.
