    A rare piece of Chinese art fetched almost $42 million at auction in Hong Kong on Thursday. Ren Renfa’s “Five Drunken Princes Returning on Horseback” is approximately 700 years old. A Sotheby’s auctioneer took bids for over an hour before bringing down the hammer at HK$265 million. With the buyer’s premium and other costs, including exchange rates, Sotheby’s said this translates to $41,847,000. The estimate had been between $10- $15 million.
