NSW’s mid-north coast is normally an area of high rainfall, where farmers take full advantage of fertile soils.
While the weather has been true to form recently, the region has been in a prolonged drought.
Farmers had hoped to access a 200 megalitre capacity dam, but say regulators have been standing in the way.
