The Premier said she was not “worried” about the latest cases and all 129 people who were transferred from Hotel Grand Chancellor have tested negative.
Queensland is also pushing ahead with a proposal to use remote areas to quarantine returned travellers, as the states scramble to respond to the spread of the new mutant strains of COVID-19.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will take the issue of remote quarantine to National Cabinet next week.
