The Queensland Government has announced a new program to boost tourism in the tropics. Cairns Holiday Dollars will encourage Queenslanders to head north to experience everything the region has to offer.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says with JobKeeper ending later this month, the Government has decided to allocate 15,000 vouchers worth up to $200 each for holidaymakers to spend on their travels up north.
“If you’ve never taken your family up to Cairns, or Port Douglas, or the Tablelands, or out to the Great Barrier Reef, now is the time because you can go into the draw for a $200 voucher.”
