In an Australian first, Queensland Police are using virtual reality headsets for simulated training scenarios.

The Service’s new recruits have strapped on the new headsets, allowing them to switch between police officer and perpetrator.

“The students are not just watching something unfold in front of them, they are the person in crisis so they know what it looks like from that person’s perspective.” – Inspector Corey Allen.
