From 6am tomorrow morning, wearing masks indoors will no longer be compulsory in Queensland. The easing of COVID-19 restrictions was set for midday on Thursday, but was brought forward after zero cases of community transmission were recorded in the state.
Visitors will be allowed at hospitals and aged care facilities, people can stand up at pubs and restaurants, dance inside and outside and nightclubs and weddings, have 100 visitors at home, and gather outside without restrictions. Venues with ticketed seating will once again be allowed to have 100% capacity.
