Her Majesty’s coffin will be carried through the streets of the Scottish capital to Edinburgh Airport today, where it will be flown to London. Princess Anne will accompany her coffin. From there, her Majesty will be taken to Buckingham Palace to be met by King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort.

The day after, her coffin will be placed on a gun carriage and travel slowly to Westminster Hall. The King and Royal Family will follow in silent procession. Guns will be fired at Hyde Park and Big Ben will toll. At Westminster Hall, her coffin will rest on a raised platform. A service will follow, before the doors will open to the public and the Queen will lie in state for four days.
