Qatar: Saudi-led bloc’s demands ‘made to be rejected’

Qatar’s foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani is willing to negotiate to end the gulf crisis, but says the list of demands given to Doha by its neighbours was “made to be rejected”.

He’s urging talks, but will not discuss Qatar’s sovereignty, shutting down a Turkish base or closing Al Jazeera.

Saudi-Arabia and its allies gave Doha 10 days to comply with the list of 13 demands.
