    Russian President Vladimir #Putin on Wednesday kicked off his annual state of the nation address which sets the political agenda for the year, as supporters of jailed Kremlin critic Alexei #Navalny prepared for mass protests. This year’s address comes with #Moscow locked in diplomatic disputes with the United States and Europe over Navalny, a Russian troop build-up on Ukraine’s borders and a series of espionage scandals.
