Russian President Vladimir #Putin said on Monday that Finland and Sweden’s bid to join #NATO poses no direct threat to Russia. However, expanding military infrastructure over the territory will cause Russia to respond. He was speaking at a summit for the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a military bloc consisting of six former Soviet countries. Putin said NATO is exacerbating an already difficult security environment.
