Protests in Barcelona over arrest of rapper Pablo Hasel

RT published this video item, entitled “Protests in Barcelona over arrest of rapper Pablo Hasel” – below is their description.

#Protests over the arrest of rapper #PabloHasel are ongoing in #Barcelona. Hasel was arrested on Tuesday morning at the rectorate of the University of Lleida, as he and a group of supporters had barricaded themselves inside the building in protest against his sentence. Demonstrations in support of him have been taking place across the country since, resulting in riots and clashes with police. According to a court ruling, Hasel is guilty of publishing ‘tweets with videos that incited violence,’ as well as messages that the magistrates consider to have ‘exalted terrorism and humiliated the Crown and other state institutions, such as the Armed Forces and the police forces.’
