Protest marches, demonstrations, and looting continued for a second night in Philadelphia, Penn. on Tuesday following the fatal shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., a 27-year-old Black man with mental health issues who was shot on Monday in an encounter with two police officers. According to police, two officers responded to a call about a man with a knife. They fired several shots at Wallace from a distance and he died in hospital later that evening. On Tuesday night, police could be seen with riot gear and shields in different parts of the city as protesters marched through the streets. The Pennsylvania National Guard says several hundred members are being deployed to the city. Helicopter footage also captured some looting at different stores.
