Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, visited two youth charities on Thursday as part of their visits during Mental Health Awareness Week, with the couple enjoying ping pong and petting guinea pigs and lizards.
The royal couple spoke to people at Base25, a charity providing support for young people unable to access mainstream services, as well as The Way Wolverhampton Youth Zone, which motivates and inspires young people to transform their lives. They also visited HugglePets, a non-profit organization using animal assisted therapy to help children with special educational needs (SEN) or mental health difficulties engage with therapy and wellbeing activities.
The couple showed off their athletic sides at Youth Zone, facing off against each other in a game of ping pong, while they joined some of the children at HugglePets and met guinea pigs and lizards.
