The Duke of Cambridge was struck down with coronavirus in April, it has emerged. Prince William reportedly struggled to breathe at one point during his treatment. But despite the diagnosis, the future King carried out several remote engagements, speaking with charities, children, fundraisers and NHS workers. The Duke is said to have kept the news a secret so as not to ‘worry’ anyone, amid the first peak of the coronavirus pandemic. At the time, Prince Charles and Boris Johnson had both tested positive for coronavirus as well.
