The UK’s Guardian reported on HRH Prince Charles opening the new NHS Nightingale Hospital, housed in the London ExCeL convention centre, and designed to allow extra capacity of up to 4,000 beds during the novel coronavirus outbreak in Britain.
The Prince of Wales has opened the new NHS Nightingale hospital at the ExCeL centre in London Docklands on Friday, which will treat up to 4,000 coronavirus patients.
Prince Charles, who recently recovered from a mild case of Covid-19, conducted the opening ceremony via a video link from his Scottish residence at Birkhall.
The health secretary, Matt Hancock, also attended the opening ceremony
