President Donald Trump has said he did wear a face mask during a visit to a mask-making factory in Arizona, despite press pictures appearing to show otherwise.
The US President told reporters that he wore one backstage, but was told it was not necessary.
The president came under fire for ignoring US government guidelines and the factory’s own policy.
Trump has also clarified that the coronavirus task force will stay in place, despite rumours he was looking to abandon it.
