Protesters in Myanmar said prayers for Mya Thwe Thwe Khaing on February 18, 2021. She was shot in the head a week ago during anti-coup protests that have been taking place across the country. The 20-year-old is in critical condition. Meanwhile in Yangon, protesters held what is believed to be the largest demonstration since the military coup. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets to protest the new military junta and demand the release of their civilian leader, Aung San Suu Kyi.
