    Holidaymakers to Portugal face chaos as even the Algarve’s MP says he doesn’t know if they will be allowed to travel there from Monday.

    Cristovao Norte said a decision should be taken “immediately” over whether British tourists can make the journey for a summer break.

    “We are going to make an urgent inquiry asking the (Portuguese) government because we are three days ahead of May 17 and no one is sure what is going to happen,” he said.
