Pope Francis welcomes Donald Trump at Vatican despite past disagreements

US President Donald Trump has arrived in Brussels ahead of Thursday’s NATO summit.

Before flying in, he met Pope Francis at the Vatican.

The two men have clashed in the past over environmental and migration issues, but this meeting was described as ‘cordial’.
