Pope Francis will deliver an address after meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Gov. Gen. Mary Simon in Quebec City on day four of his Canada trip focused on Indigenous reconciliation. Simon will also deliver remarks following the pontiff.

Pope Francis has described his week-long Canadian tour as a “penitential” pilgrimage to apologize to Indigenous peoples for abuses inflicted by the Roman Catholic church.

Thousands of people are to travel by bus, plane and even boat to attend events during the historic papal visit.
