Political turmoil threatens Paraguay’s economy
The United Nations is urging Paraguay to investigate the death of a protester during anti-government rallies last week.
Demonstrators were angry at a Senate vote that would allow President Horacio Cartes to run for a second term.
People are worried the political turmoil could affect Paraguay’s economic prospects.
