Police are urgently seeking the driver of a white ute caught up in a shooting investigation in Sydney’s west. In the vision released by detectives, a man is seen getting out of the vehicle, pointing at something before getting back into the ute and driving away.

Police believe two groups were fighting in the area, and it was linked to an earlier shooting at Gallipoli Street in Lidcombe last Sunday. Empty shell casings were found there, and an 18-year-old Auburn man faces a number of charges, including discharging a firearm in a public place.
