A homicide investigation is underway after the death of a man in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, on Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:00pm, authorities were called to an address on Old Logan Road in Gailes after reports of a serious wounding.
Police found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said he was in a critical condition and provided first aid.
But the man was pronounced dead a short time after emergency services arrived.
Police have appealed to the public for information regarding the incident.
Detectives believe the three men pictured above may be able to assist with their inquiries.
They are also looking for a silver Holden Commodore station wagon with black mag wheels.
Anyone with information regarding the wherabouts of the men is urged to exercise caution and call triple-0 immediately.
Police said there was an altercation before a shot was fired inside the house.
Inspector Heath McQueen said four men ran from the house back to their car, which was parked outside a neighbouring property.
