Toronto police say Vanessa Kurpiewska, 31, died after she was stabbed on a subway train near High Park station on Thursday. A 37-year-old woman was also injured and treated in hospital. A Toronto man, who police say did not know the victims, has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
