Police today conducted a COVID-19 compliance operation at the Bondi Outdoor Gym at North Bondi.
For people who live near Bondi Beach, laws instruct local residents to stay inside their local government area (Waverley Council), or up to 10km from their home. Locals can go outdoors for exercise or recreation with the people that they live with, or one person that they do not live with, such as a nominated visitor.
People must carry a face mask at all times if they are in the local government areas of Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong or Shellharbour.
People must wear a face mask if they go outside in a public area in the Blacktown, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool or Parramatta local government areas.
The laws for large parts of Sydney’s southwest and west are a lot stricter – read them here: https://7news.link/3xnRuPf
