Dozens of Extinction Rebellion activists were arrested after staging a protest calling on the Dutch government to take more action to combat climate change, in Amsterdam, on Friday. Protesters could be seen blocking roads in the Dutch capital’s Zuidas financial district, by sitting in the thoroughfare, with some locking themselves together with cardboard pipes. Police subsequently dragged activists off the street and into a waiting bus.
